Samsung SCH-i100 Gem Phone DesignSamsung U.S. reveals Android smartphone entry level, the SCH-I100 CDMA networks to Save. It is expected that the phone will be released soon by Verizon Wireless. Cool Nokia 2220 Slide Popular DesignThe Finnish company is ready to release new entry-level phone for emerging markets – Nokia 2220 slide. It’s a slider which will be available in 6 colors -black, silver, pink, red, blue, purple and green colors. It is a slider and looks unmistakably as if it is a higher end phone. Unfortunately the spell can be broken because of its small 1.8 inch screen that provides grainy images due to the low resolution. It displays only 65K colors.
The Nokia 2220 Slide is pretty slim. You can find a nice D-pad with soft keys that are located bellow the screen. As it is considered to be a slider, it is equipped with an alphanumeric keypad. The keys are divided in rows and are widely spaced. You are enabled with good finger as well as tactility orientation.
As for entertainment features, you can use an Mp3 player and FM radio. The FM Radio is available with the recording option. The Mp3 player is considered to be basic but it is restricted due to 32MB of internal memory, which means that the handset is able to store only a few songs simultaneously. Moreover, the handset lacks Bluetooth and USB connectivity meaning it would be hard to incorporate songs into the handset. The target audience of the Nokia 2220 Slide is mainly the youth. One should say that the handset is regarded as a sign of the future of basic handsets.
