Samsung U.S. reveals Android smartphone entry level, the SCH-I100 CDMA networks to Save. It is expected that the phone will be released soon by Verizon Wireless. Pearl is powered by a 800MHz processor and running under OS Android 2.1 Flash Samsung TouchWiz UI and Social Hub function. Touch Screen Gem SCH-I100 3.2-inch. There’s no word on the price of the Samsung Gem, but, if it will come with Android 2.1, Verizon should make it free on contract – otherwise, I don’t think there will be many customers interested in buying it.

The Gem SCH-I100 comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen with anti-scratch, anti-smudge, anti-reflective glass, a 3.2 Megapixel camera and Bluetooth. While supporting microSD memory card up to 16GB, the Gem has only 124MB internal memory.
